"Levon Mitchell sponsored our trip to Europe. We had big fun hanging out with him. We all spent hours walking and talking and getting silly. "We decided to stay in Europe for a few days after playing in Augsburg, so we took the train to Zurich. Zurich is a gorgeous city and we had a ball! The main music store there was amazing - floor after floor of instruments and gear. We hung out for hours playing and talking with other musicians."   

• Bozeman, MT:  workshop with some great young students!

"Bozeman has a great community spirit and Jazz Montana is dedicated to providing a fantastic music program. We did a workshop in the morning with some amazing young musicians. They were not only totally fun to work with, but they really played - man, could they play!" - joyce

• San Diego, CA:  Music for the Mind concert at Anthology

Joyce, Jay, Celso and Ralph did a fundraiser show to benefit the local San Diego chapter of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). What a success! The house was packed and the energy was on. Thanks to everyone who attended the show and helped raise funds for mental health. Big thanks also to Sherry Fisher for her fabulous photos of their performance (#3,4,5 below).

"What a gorgeous place to play! We all had a ball hanging out on the Atlantic in the morning. In the afternoon we played a super fun show. Gerald Veasley sat in with us the entire set. We kept begging him to play one more with us and he kindly obliged. Thanks, Gerald!!"
